Our Structure

Our
church operates under a simple structure.
We are— |

Pastor and staff led,
Committee discussed,
Deacon served,
Church approved.

What does this mean? It
means that Ridgecrest has asked its pastor and staff to cast
a vision for the church. We receive counsel and feedback
from all church members and leaders. When we are ready to
propose an initiative, we work with the proper committees.
Those committees research and discuss proposals before
passing them on to our deacons. In this way, our deacons
serve the church by providing wise counsel and spiritual
leadership. When the deacons approve initiatives, they are
brought before the church for final approval. |

We expect our members to take
an active role in the ministry here at Ridgecrest. We call
upon committees to gather information, discuss
opportunities, and inform our church. We expect our deacons
to be servant leaders. And, we expect our pastor and staff
to set a visionary agenda for the future. |
